I wanted to install samba as mac OSX timemachine backup server, following here.
- release-upgraded Ubutu machine: 14 LTS => 16 LTS => 18 LTS (phew...)
- intalled additional dependent libs:
libtracker-sparql-2.0-dev libjansson-dev gnutls-dev libgpgme11-dev libarchive-dev libacl1-dev libldap2-dev libpam-dev- encountered service start hang. solution =>(service Type:notify => simple) https://askubuntu.com/a/1124086/129415
